Today is 13 Ajpu—the day of the spiritual warrior, the one who faces their destiny with courage. Thirteen is the number of ascension, completion, and the ancestors.
Ajpu is the energy that helps you claim your power and step fully into who you’re meant to be. It’s a day for courage, for saying ‘yes’ to what your Soul is calling you toward.
And it’s fitting that on this day of spiritual warriorship, we’re standing at the threshold of something new.
We gather on Friday for our first Cacao Ritual at The Altar—on 1 Imox, the beginning of the dream, the moment before the first sound, before the first movement. This is the day the Mayan Sacred Calendar calls pure potential, the place where all dreams live before they take form.
When I asked the ancestors what medicine wants to move through this ritual, they brought forward the Nine of Cups and I heard someone humming this:
“What would you do if your wish could come true?”
Now, it’s not the wish you think you should have. Not the dream that makes sense to anyone else. But the one that’s actually alive in you—the one that lights up your whole body when you let yourself feel it. The wish that has no competition because it can only come through you.
This ritual isn’t about figuring it all out. It’s about descending into the depths where your Soul shows you what wants to be created through you, even if it doesn’t make sense yet.
