What the Body Holds—Following Aliveness

On the Body's Wisdom & What Becomes Possible When You Stop Bracing

Hello sweet souls,

Today is 11 Ajmak in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—a beautiful and tender day to be sharing this transmission with you.

Ajmak is the energy of forgiveness, reconciliation, and humanness. It is the day of reflection and correction—a sacred invitation to examine our actions and our conditioning with compassion rather than judgment, to ask for forgiveness where it is needed, and to extend it where it has been withheld, most especially to ourselves.

Ajmak holds the ancestral lineages, the wisdom of those who have returned to the truth, and the energy that lives in and around all living bodies. It is sweet, quiet, analytical, and brave.

Eleven can be the energy of confusion—the disorienting middle place, where the old way no longer serves and the new way has not yet fully landed. Eleven asks us to sit with the not-knowing long enough to find the thread of clarity on the other side.

And so it feels deeply aligned to share this transmission on What the Body Holds—Following Aliveness with you today. Because if there is confusion around your humanness—around why you feel what you feel, why the body holds what it holds, why the heart breaks open again and again—I hope this transmission clears some of that.

The soul is not confused. The soul is always metabolizing, always converting the raw material of being human into wisdom. And the body is the instrument through which it does that sacred work.

In this transmission, I walk through the voices the body holds—the mind, sensation, the heart, instinct and intuition, and the witness—and I speak about heartbreak as the initiation that wakes them all up at once. I speak about following aliveness as the practice of moving energy, not after you have felt everything, but as the very way you feel it fully. And I speak about what becomes possible when you stop bracing—when you know, in your body, that you are not a fixed and fragile thing but a field.

This transmission is meant to be felt. Make yourself a cup of Ceremonial Cacao before you press play. Find a quiet place. Arrive in your body first.

One more thing—for those of you in or near Santa Fe, I am hosting a Sacred Ancestor Reading on Saturday, April 18. This is an in-person gathering where I open the field and bring through messages from the ancestors for those in the room. If you feel the call, I would love to have you. Details are linked below.

Sacred Ancestor Reading

Sending you love and aliveness,

Maggie
