Hello sweet souls,
As the sun comes up this morning, I am sitting with the energy of Q’anil—the seed, the ripening, the harvest. The start of a new 13-day cycle that feels like it is both time to plant again and time to notice what has already come to the surface, all at once.
Before I go on, I want to acknowledge something. You may have noticed that instead of showing you an altar for these energies—which I promise will return—I have been sharing notes on what I am hearing and feeling as each new energetic cycle opens. And I want to tell you why.
This is how I experience the Mayan Sacred Calendar. It is not a chart I consult. It is a dialogue. Each nawal—each energy—is a different ancestral voice with different guidance, different perspective, a different way of seeing your life. When I sit with Q’anil this morning, I am not studying or reading about Q’anil. I am listening to Q’anil. And what I hear is what I want to share with you, raw and unpolished. The altars will come back. But right now, this feels truer.
And maybe Q’anil feels the way it does this morning because we are in late September in the northern hemisphere. We have entered fall. It is harvest season where I am in New Mexico—the markets are filled with chilies and corn and peppers and potatoes, gourds, pumpkins, squash, all sorts of beautiful golden objects that have been grown from seed. And at the same time, it feels fresh. Like a start again. A planting of what is within us, of what we wish to bring to life. A preparation for the next harvest.
I feel this energy as golden. As yellow. As ripe corn. I see it as the first golden light that comes up in the morning when the sun takes its first peek over the horizon—not the pinky glow that arrives first (that’s Aq’ab’al), but when the yellow rays stream straight to you, reaching you directly, shining on your face. For me, that is the sun rising over the mountains around me, the light streaming through in golden rays.
Yesterday was a big full moon—a fiery, full moon in Aries. A culmination. A realization. There was so much stirring in me that at the end of the day I had to go out for a walk just to move it, just to get it through and out of my body. And now this morning, I wake up feeling a little more ready for all the different seeds I am planting in this cycle.
Over the last four weeks, I have been in a deep exploration of what 2027 looks like. Playing with ideas. Sitting with what wants to take shape. Letting concepts arrive and percolate without forcing them into form.
And now—as Q’anil opens—I feel the shift from exploration to commitment. It is time to plant. To push the seeds into the ground and cover them with soil and nutrients and water, and to trust that what I am planting will grow even when I cannot see it yet.
Here is a little of what I am planting.
The Altar is going to change form as we come closer to the new year. It is growing. It is expanding. It is emerging into something fuller—the same transmissions and live gatherings, with more depth, more of everything I have been building toward. I am not ready to share all of it yet, but it is coming. And I want to say this clearly: if you have been thinking about joining, now is the time. Everyone who joins before the shift gets to maintain the price they are at. You will be grandfathered in—ancestrally, if you will—into The Altar as it grows and expands and I add more into it (like guided meditations, energy readings, discussion boards, etc.). The price you come in at is the price you keep. That is my commitment to the people who were here early.
The Sacred Bridge ceremonies are entering a new cycle. I have held them all summer—in my home, in Santa Fe and online—and they have helped women step more fully into who they are and who they are meant to be. In 2027, these ceremonies are evolving. I am integrating ancestral reverence and ancestral healing more deeply—helping women pull apart and then weave together the threads of their own lineage, so they can see where their gifts come from, what their ancestors carried, and what is theirs to both cleared and embodied in this lifetime. The ceremonies have always been about the emergence of your sacred gifts. They are also about the lineage that planted those gifts in you.
And lastly, I spent a bit of last night’s full moon really saying aloud and acknowledging what I know is already here, already on its way—in terms of my work, in terms of love and relationships, in terms of home and family, in terms of what it looks like for me to come into my fullest expression.
I am wishing all of that for you. There’s still time—say it all aloud. They want to hear you.
Maybe you plant some of your own seeds in this cycle. Maybe you feel into the new beginnings that are unfolding for you. Maybe you commit to cultivate one or two new pieces of you—new aspects, new expressions. Maybe you choose to love differently. Maybe you choose to show up differently. Maybe you choose to be seen deeper, wider. Maybe you choose to try something new.
I always invite you to try something different.
Questions for your Soul over these 13 days:
What seeds am I planting in this cycle—and which ones am I ready to fully commit to?
What has already come to the surface that I have not yet acknowledged or claimed?
What do I know is already on its way to me—in my work, in love, in my home, in my fullest expression—that I am ready to say aloud?
Where am I being called to show up differently—to be seen deeper, wider, more fully?
What is one new expression of me that I am ready to cultivate?
You can use a journal to sit with these. Write them down if you want. But also—you can turn on your recording device, as my own sweet Soul recommends frequently, and just ask yourself these questions and record the raw answers. Do not make it precious or perfect. Just make it.
