Hello sweet souls,
Today is 3 Ajpu in the Mayan Sacred Calendar.
Ajpu is the day of the hero—the light bringer, the one who aims true, the hunter who knows exactly what they’re moving toward. And 3 is the number of the inward journey—not the light carried outward into the world, but the light brought within. Today we turn toward the interior. We illuminate what lives inside us.
I shared these three dreams with my email list and it feels like a good day to tell you about them, too—only with a bit more color.
You may listen to me read this to you here:
The ancestors have been sending me profound dreams lately.
After the Sacred Cacao Circle in my home this past weekend—I had a lot of Cacao in me, as I always do, sipping upon waking and while I prepare—I went to sleep with my intention held in my high heart.
In the middle of the night, I was woken by a dream. Nothing important. But in the seconds before waking, I heard a dog bark. Just once. One big bark.
And that single sound sent a transmission into my head—a confirmation of something I’ve been calling in. A furry companion, sometime in the next year or so. I can feel them in the field. They want to be with me. I want to be with them. One bark. That’s all it took.
I went back to sleep.
A few hours later, another dream. This one had more texture.
I was overseas—somewhere high profile, the kind of gathering where you arrive and immediately feel the weight of significance in the room. Old colleagues were there. A client I no longer work with, on purpose. And there were celebrities present. One of them was Lily Allen—and if you know anything about Lily Allen, you know she is someone who has lived her life on her own terms, a little rebellious, a little outside the lines, unafraid to say what others won’t. I felt her presence as an energy more than anything else.
And then someone on the team—quietly, away from the crowd—snuck me aside. I know this work is no longer for you, they said. I have a separate business focused on food, and this summer I’d like to offer you an engagement.
I woke up immediately. And before I got out of bed, I understood: there is an opportunity coming this summer where I will offer nourishment of some kind. The dream didn’t spell it out. It didn’t need to. The felt sense was enough.
And then last night—or this morning, really—a dream with a man I was growing close to. He was so beautiful. I probably shouldn’t watch hockey rom-coms before bed.
He was an entrepreneur. We had that in common immediately—that particular kind of energy that recognizes itself. He had invited me to his pop-up, where he was making the most beautiful coffee drinks. A hot man and exceptional coffee. Doubly hot. I want you to know I appreciated both.
We were talking about pop-up markets—something I used to do, a whole chapter of my life I loved—and at some point he had to leave the cart to go check on one of his other markets. And while he was gone, a group of women gathered. You know the kind of gathering. Eyes bright, leaning in, waiting for him.
He came back. But he didn’t pay attention to them. He came back to me. And a friend nearby caught my eye and gave me that look—there is something here.
We were sitting close and he said: I’d like to get physically intimate with you, but I don’t think either of us knows how we feel yet. I think we should give ourselves space for that first.
I was bewildered. Delighted. Surprised. All the things.
And I felt it—the texture of a significant collaboration or partnership arriving. One that takes its time. One that is worth the wait.
It really happens that easily.
The dream doesn’t have to be big or extravagant. It can be light. Simple. Just a bark. Just a colleague pulling you aside at an overseas gathering where Lily Allen is somehow also present. Just a beautiful man who makes coffee and knows how to wait.
And all of a sudden—I am affirmed. I receive confirmation from the other side, from my Soul, from my ancestors, that I am on the right path.
This happens during times when I am settled into my Soul. When I am calm in my body. Doing yoga every day. Making my food. Finding time to be in community. Calling in beautiful souls into my home studio.
One word from your Soul.
One glance from an ancestor.
The felt presence of a spirit ally.
And suddenly everything feels okay.
Someone said this to me in circle this past weekend: How can I have this feeling after this? How can I take it with me all the time?
I’ve been sitting with that question ever since.
And here is my answer: come to the altar.
On Saturday, June 20—also 6 Toj in the Mayan Sacred Calendar, the day of the sacred fire, of reciprocity, of offering and receiving—I am opening my home for a half-day ceremonial journey in the sacred hours before the Summer Solstice peaks.
This is not a workshop. It is not just a Cacao Circle. It is a descent to the altar within—where your ancestors wait, the fire burns, and your Soul remembers what it came here to do.
Over three and a half hours together, we will move through the four movements of hearing and living from the Soul: Resting, Opening, Receiving, and Emerging. We will drink Ceremonial Cacao. We will go inward through sound. We will come back up and share what arrived. The ancestors will be present. Guidance will come. Next steps will arrive.
You will not leave the same way you arrived. You will leave knowing.
The Solstice Journey to the Altar Within takes place on Saturday, June 20 from 10am to 1:30pm MDT in my private home studio in Eldorado at Santa Fe. Space is held for 12 sweet souls—one spot is already claimed.
And if you feel called to a first taste of this work before June 20—I also have a Sacred Cacao Circle on Sunday, June 7, 11am to 1pm MDT. An intimate circle where your Soul remembers how to speak.
Looking forward to being in the Soul field with you—gathered around the fire.
I love you,
Maggie

So very lovely, Maggie. And what an invitation -- to life and living.
