Today is 13 K'at in the Mayan Sacred Calendar. The sacred number 13 is a favorite number as it's directly correlated to the ancestors or spirit world; and I feel the ancestors strongly today. They came to me in my dreams over night, inviting me to trust myself and release burdens associated with self-belief and becoming. K'at is the energy of the net. Woven by the spider, the net gathers our abundance but sometimes gets too heavy. The invitation is to harvest the gold and release your burdens. You/we can do this, promise.
Hello sweet soul,
Around 2 AM last night, I awoke to the smell of a particular type of Cacao, one of my favorites, rich with panela and spice. And then the scent drifted to strong coffee, the sort I remember wafting around the kitchen in my childhood.
I wasn't dreaming. I was awake in my bed. There was no one cooking in my tiny casita kitchen.
And, with the scents, I received some visions, memories really, of my father. As I felt into those visions, I also felt his guidance and protection.
The day prior, I had a strong interaction with someone who reminded me of my father. I felt that the interaction presented itself in order for me to notice how much I trust myself, and how I can both presence the logical ways of my father while trusting my emotional and intuitive body.
While trusting my sweet Soul.
It was a deep remembering to trust all of me, even and especially my softer parts who know that life doesn't have to be so hard. In fact, I can see that hardness with a neutral heart, without assigning judgment.
