Follow the Magic to Release Responsibility
A special podcast episode on a conversation with my parents after they passed away
I didn’t expect to write to you today.
But then, I didn’t expect to forget to send you the video I made on Follow the Magic, one of the ten pillars of soul work.
And, I didn’t expect to launch a podcast episode that follows up on last week’s episode with a story of unendingly healing magic, thanks to a conversation with my parents after they passed away.
But when you root into soul, you follow the calls from your most integrated, intuitive self and my most integrated, intuitive self—made up of all the parts of me but lead by the soul—invited me to send this note.
First, I made a video on Follow the Magic. These little art videos are tiny stories or three-minute lessons on living from the soul. I think they also share my process of becoming whole, embodied, and my most integrated self.
Second, I released a bonus podcast episode today on how following the magic may help you heal your deepest core wounds.
In this episode, I share a story on how my parents presented themselves to me and offered an entire conversation where they explained some of their past behaviors and helped me see them as more human than ever, even though they are no longer in body.
I hope both of these bits touch upon something for you that is helpful or healing or just humanizing.
I’ll be back on Wednesday with:
Notes on self-care through big feelings and the full moon in Aries
All the delicious food that I made this weekend
The next pillar of soul work (hint: It has something to do with all your big feelings)
A date and location for my first ceremonial cacao session (with only 10 spots)
And perhaps, even, a recipe!
