Hello sweet souls,
Today, we begin the trecena of 1 Aj—and there is something quietly sovereign about this opening.
Aj is the noble leader. The cornstalk. The backbone of the world. The one who stands tall not through force or performance, but through deep rootedness—through knowing what they are made of and letting that be enough. Aj does not seek applause. Aj does not need an audience. Aj simply stands. Upright. Present. Rooted in the earth and reaching toward the sky, because that is its nature.
This 13-day cycle runs from Monday, March 16 through Saturday, March 28, 2026.
And what Aj is really pointing us toward—over these 13 days and always—is noble leadership from the inside out. Not the kind that requires a stage or a title. The kind that requires only this: knowing who you are, standing in it fully, and letting your presence, your wisdom, be the offering. This is the kind of energy we embody when we fully land into ourselves and just show up, arrive, be.
The image I hold for this energy is the cornstalk in late summer—unhurried, undecorated, simply and completely itself; so rooted that no wind can uproot it, so alive that it feeds everything around it.

Relationships Are Reflections
This trecena moves through the heart of March’s deeper medicine in the Altar: Relationships Are Reflections. And Aj has something specific to say about this.
Noble leadership is not something you practice in isolation. It is something you discover in the presence of others. The people in your life right now—the ones who see you clearly, and the ones who seem not to—are all showing you something about where you are still waiting for permission to stand tall. Where you are still looking outward for the recognition that can only ever come from within.
Aj asks: where in your relationships are you shrinking? And where, if you simply stood rooted in yourself, might everything shift?
