Hello sweet souls,
Today is the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year, the peak of the light, the moment the sun reaches its very fullest. Happy Solstice!
And here is what I love about it: from this day forward, the light begins, ever so slowly, to recede. The nights begin to lengthen. We have reached the very top of the outward, radiant, daylight half of the year, and now we begin the long, gentle turn back toward the dark—toward the inward, toward the dreaming.
So on the day the light is most full, I want to give you something for the dark. For the night. For the dream space.
It is also 6 Toj in the Mayan Sacred Calendar—the day of the sacred fire, of reciprocity, of offering and receiving. Toj is the fire within, the place the soul goes to simply be. And 6 is the energy of harmony, of what becomes possible when we gather with intention.
What a day to hand you this Solstice gift.
The gift is a ritual—with an audio transmission and sacred instructions you may print to hold you through it.
For years, the ancestors have been teaching me to work in the dream space. Because the dream space is not empty. It is active. It is where your guides, your ancestors, your angels are reachable—the same way they are in meditation, in the astral. When you sleep, you are not going nowhere. You are crossing into a place where they are already waiting for you. And most of us cross that threshold every single night without ever thinking to bring our questions with us, or to listen, on the other side, for what was said.
This ritual is how you bring your questions. A small cup—Cacao, or a warm tea chosen with intention. An invocation. A way to lay what you are carrying on the altar of the dream space before you sleep. And the practice of catching what comes through, in the night and in the morning, before it slips away.
