Hello sweet souls,
Today is 1 Tz’ikin—the first day of a new 13-day cycle—and I want to leave a note for you on what this energy feels like, because it feels different.
We were just in the trecena of Iq’, the cycle of breath and wind and spirit. Those 13 days felt like a breath taken in and released slowly—like bated breath, like waiting, like receiving. We rode hills and valleys as we allowed spirit to speak to us through wind, through air, through messages, through downloads, through glimpses of possibility, through synchronicity. And I received a lot during that cycle—big pieces of what is ahead for my work and my life, arriving out of order the way they always do, asking me to sit with them before I act.
Now we enter something new.
Tz’ikin is the visionary. The bird. The eagle who flies high above and can see the vastness of what is before them—what is ahead, what is behind, what is to the left and what is to the right. All the options. All the choices. All the pieces. And from that height, the eagle can see how point A links to point B links to point C, and begin to put them together into something whole.
What I sense in this cycle is that a vision is crystallizing. You could call it a vision for your life, or for your work, or for a project, or for a relationship. You could call it a vision for your Soul’s calling. Only you will know what it is. But I am seeing it as a map—not the full set of directions, but the general point you are moving toward. The horizon. The bigger picture that has been quietly forming underneath everything you have been doing.
That is the energy over these next 13 days. Everything arriving to help you see the bigger picture of your life.
And there is something special about Tz’ikin landing here—during harvest season in the northern hemisphere, while we are in Virgo season and preparing to move into Libra season. Things are rising to the surface and clarifying. The harvest is not only what you planted—it is the vision that has been forming underneath the planting. Virgo season asks you to map it out, to be clear about where you are going, to choose one horizon rather than trying to hold 25. And as Libra season arrives, we begin to look at the people around us and ask: who is walking with me toward this horizon, and who is not?
Every moment in the Mayan Sacred Calendar lines up completely differently with the Gregorian calendar, with the astrological calendar, with the phases of the moon, with the season we are living in. It is always unique. And this particular meeting of Tz’ikin with the harvest, with Virgo’s precision and Libra’s discernment—it is shining a light on where you are going right now.
Pay attention over these 13 days. Let everything that arrives—every conversation, every idea, every piece that seems unrelated—show you where it fits.
Three questions for your journal over this cycle:
What is the one horizon my life is pointing toward right now—not the 25 options, but the one that keeps returning?
What arrived during the last cycle—a message, an idea, a knowing—that I have not yet placed into the bigger picture? Where does it fit?
Who in my life is walking toward the same horizon I am—and who am I holding onto out of habit rather than alignment?
Where I Will Be This Week
I am at the High Desert Human Design Conference this week—on Thursday, September 17, I will be participating in the opening ceremonies, and on Sunday, September 20, I will host a Sacred Soul Circle in the energy of integration, bringing everything the conference opened back into the body, back into the Soul field.
If you are at the conference, come find me.
Coming Up Online
Collective Ancestor Reading—Friday, September 25, 11am–12pm on Zoom. A sacred reading for the collective—I open the channel and the ancestors speak. Come with your question. This gathering is for members of The Altar.
Your Soul is the Bridge Ceremony—Sunday, September 27, 10am–1pm on Zoom. I have hosted this style of ceremony in person all summer, and this is its online debut—a morning of reverence entirely focused on the emergence of your sacred gifts. This particular ceremony carries the energy of planting new seeds. Think Ceremonial Cacao, a Sacred Bridge teaching transmission, Kundalini sound journey, and sacred council with the ancestors, held from your own altar anywhere in the world. As a member of The Altar, you come in at $144 rather than $188.
Look to your horizon. The eagle sees the whole map. You are learning to see it too.
All online and in-person events for the remainder of 2026 are online here.
With love,
Maggie
